Hi everyone ;)
I decided to add a blog to my website so as to be able to inform you about my latest scripts/projects and get feedback during the development.
After publishing online the bookscatter script , i saw in many websites that people were also interested in the other scripts here (even though they are really premature). I saw special interest in the material randomizer script, so i decided to work on that a bit.
In the new version i am working on, you can also randomize the material textures, like the tiling, angle, blur and i have some ideas for the hue/saturation etc by adding a color correction map on top. The results so far look amazing as you can see on the image bellow in which all objects use the same textures but are randomized enough so that you can not really tell. The setting that generated these materials are the one on the script screenshot above. Possible usage of this in floor tiles, object instances, pretty much anywhere you want material randomization!
In the first edition that will come out in some days only V-Ray will be supported, but if i get enough feedback from other renderer's users i will try to add some more :)
